Enamelled OM Silver pendant, an old piece created in the early 1990s (pre-Independance of 1947), in the Pushtu area of south-east Afghanistan, probably from close by Multan on the Indus River.
Pendant dimensions approx 30x24mm.

The craftsmen employed in the enamelling trade in that area were Hindi; all departed with the creation of Pakistan; that was the end of this sort of work.
