AGrade Citrine Quartz matched cut 10mm x 8mm ovals, superior bright translucent natural gemstones of Brazilian origin.
Citrine is the sister gemstone of Amethyst, both being part of the Quartz Gemstone family, along with Rose Quartrz and Smokey Quartz. Another interesting member of the Quartz Gemstone family is Crystal Quartz, the totally colourless Quartz gemstone. The “Crystal Ball” of medieval soothsayers was a sphere of colourless Crystal Quartz, a fabulous object.

The Silver settings for the above AGrade Citrine gemstones are created and crafted in Sydney, cleanly and solidly – one of the images in the above image gallery shows the rear of one eardrop, giving a good idea of the nearness and solidity involved.
The Citrines are bezel set, the work of a professional Sydney master gemstone setter.

Note the hand-worked little design flourish of solid 9ct Yellow Gold granules on the bottom rim of each eardrop.
Note also the use of Silver safety clip earhooks rather than simple hooks: costly but worth it in look and efficacy.
