Rare handworked Tribal Silver chain from Kerala Sth India mid 1950s or earlier, “foxtail” or “chevron” linkage.
Originally created as a belt, very flexible, in very good condition; original wire-wrapped end caps, nice old “S”: clasp, probably not original to the chain.
Approx 3mm squared profile, 84cms length, 55.5 grams weight.

Very fine handcraftsmanship, typical Kerala work, high Silver content, again typical of Kerala Silver chain work of that period.
