Silver Rondels pendant with Diamonds and Gold. Designed in Sydney, handcrafted in Sydney, the rondels centred around a 10pt White brilliant cut Diamond set in solid 18ct Gold, with a pair of 2pt white Diamonds rub-set into the solid round sections.
The 18ct Gold setting for the 10pt Diamond was first created, then the two rounds, solid Silver, each 1.8mm thick and 9.5mm across; the Silver roundss were next cut out to fit the 18ct Gold Diamond setting. The three sections soldered cleanly together constitute a pleasing and balanced pendant form.
The centre 3mm 10pt white Diamond contributes almost 30% to the end price of this Sydney-handmade pendant.
Note: the top bail ring for a chain is a nice largish solid 9ct Gold oval, large enough to handle the end of a Silver chain. This is emphasized because the ends of Silver chains tend to be somewhat larger than those on Gold chains.
The last image in the above image gallery gives a  rear view of the pendant, showing that the 18ct Gold of the 10pt Diamond setting is as thick as the pendant itself.
