Long Silver Hook Deco Earrings, totally handmade, Sydney-made, early 1990s: handcut fine white bone inlaid with New Zealand paua shell, capped at the bottoms with polished black shell and inlaid with strips of handcut black shell; the handmade long Silver hooks are a feature in themselves.
The last image shows the reverse of one of the pair, showing the rivets holding the paua shell, and the extra two lines of inlaid black shell striped past those rivets, inserted simply for the smart style of it, from the rear view.
