Superfine Turquoise, from the now defunct fabled Sleeping Beauty mine of Arizona, in its natural blue, undyed, untreated, not chemically stabilized, simply given a protective waxing.

Turquoise has been treated in the USA since the early 20thcentury, to stop or slow down the natural process of the gemstone darkening with wear and time.
This Turquoise has not been so treated; it is natural, of the very finest Turquoise blue. It will, with wear, darken, but if it is treated well, kept away from the chemicals in products such as perfume, detergents, sun cream lotions, and given a wipe with a damp cloth after wear, then the gradual deepening in colour will be slow, and will be uniform and natural, and it will maintain its beauty.
