Turquoise Star-set in pendant of solid 9ct Gold.
The little Turquoise, 2.6mm round, has been cut half-round, flat-backed, for just this type of bead setting, where the gemstone setter pushes up granules or beads from the setting surface, and uses those “beads”, pressed down onto the girdle of the gemstone, to fix it in place.
The Turquoise is natural, untreated, of Arizona origin, cut and polished in Bangkok.
