Citrine is a member of the Quartz Gemstone family, along with the lilac Amethyst, Rose Quartz and Smokey Quartz. The Quartz gemstone family also includes Crystal Quartz, the colourless, clear variety, not much seen in jewellery, but interesting in its own right, being one of the few clear gemstones and durable.
