Russian Antique Enamel and Silver earrings. Pre-Revolution, i.e. pre 1917, probably among the countless artefacts and items of jewellery whisked out of Russia in the early 1900s. These very finely handcrafted eardrops show no signs of wear and tear, so it is feasible to suppose they stayed in a box somewhere, until recently, in some apartment-of-exile in the Avenue Foche of Paris, or some such other salubrious place of abode favoured by the elites fleeing Moscow or Petersburg in that period.
For there is no sign of damage in the above earrings. Even the finely wrought scalloped setting edge is completely intact. Note also, in the rear image shown in the last of the above photos, the quality of the finished hand work, with the enamel heart shape perfectly mirrored in three filaments of Silver twisted wire, so well crafted and joined as to leave no visible solder marks.
Not 925 Sterling Silver, rather the 800 standard used in Russia at that time (and also in Scandanavia, the Baltic States, and  Germany).
