Two Garnet cabochons (cut round), in a simple elegant necklet of Silver Gold-plated. The Garnets are of excellent Almandine wine-red colour. Held up to the light, the Two Garnet cabochons display an orange-red undertone, a colour characteristic of the Almandine variety of Garnet, for its lovely wine-red tones is essentially caused by the element of Iron (Fe) present in its creation.
The 24kt hard Gold-plating of the necklet, Melbourne work, is the best, most durable form of Gold-plating available, and even with much wear, though its yellow will fade a little, it will not revert to Silver.

Note: there is an adjustability in the chain length, with another ring 2cms in from one end.
