Slim Gold Chain, a fine sturdy 1.5mm thick cable link chain crafted in Italy, purchased recently (October 2024) specifically for the purpose of carrying the above lovely two-gemstone centre-piece of translucent facet-cut Blue Topaz.
Blue Topaz can come in all sorts of shades of blue, from so pale a colour as to be almost white, to a blue so deep as to appear somewhat synthetic; the particular light bright blue of the above gemstones, like the sparkle of the shallows of the Adriatic coast, is very close to the colour of fine Aquamarine.
Note: as mentioned above, the 9ct Gold Italian chain has been recently purchased, and was purchased despite the present high cost of Gold, for there is quite simply no reason to believe that the cost component of Gold in fine jewellery will drop from its present high level any time soon.
