Ruby Emerald and Diamond in a five-gemstone pendant created and crafted in Sydney. The idea for this type of multi-gemstone setting was inspired by jewellery designs of the late mediaeval period, depicted in oil paintings of the powerful of that age. Usually the pendants and rings then were considerably larger than the above neat, compact Ruby Emerald and Diamond setting, and the gemstones larger. However, the gemstones of that mediaeval period would certainly not have been of such high quality as the above five.
All five gemstones in the above setting are of AGrade “best commercial” quality, a term sometimes used to describe the better grades of small precious gemstones; the red deep, the green vivid, the white brilliant.
Note the milgrain effect around the edge of each setting, detailing executed by the professional Sydney gemstone setter in the painstaking work of securely setting these five superior gemstones.
Note the last image in the above image gallery, of the rear of the pendant setting, showing its cleanness and solidity.
