Indo-Scythian Silver coin ring, the coin ancient, around 1750 years old dating back to the mid-250s CE, from the “Western Satraps” kingdom which ruled large areas  of western India for hundreds of years before being destroyed by the Guptas in the 4th century CE.
Interestingly, the form of this Silver coin did not change for a couple of centuries, always showing approximately the same capped visage, moustached and of prominent nose, and, on the reverse, a stupa, or shrine, and a stream. This would indicate a long stretch of stable rule.
The coin mount has been handcrafted specifically for this coin, the rear of the coin left as exposed as possible.
