Baby Adjustable Silver Bracelet. A great number of these Baby Bracelets were made in England in the early 1900s, especially, it seems, in the 1930s, and for years they were England’s most favourite nativity gift. In the generally more affluent 1970s, 1980s, they were readily available to the international buyers of English antique and period Silver, and usually in excellent condition, for a great many of them were sitting, and had been for decades, in the back rooms of jewellery stores, left unsold as the fashion passed.
However, a serious spike in the price of Silver occurred in the early 2000s, and a lot of English Silver went into the smelting vats; much of England’s stock of these baby bracelets disappeared; these days they are not so readily available.
