4 Claw Rose Gold pendant, Moonstone. When the Moonstone is as good as the above gemstone, it works very well with Rose Gold. The pendant was designed and created in Sydney specifically for this size, quality and cut of Moonstone.
The pendant is 9ct Rose Gold. Rose Gold is created with the addition of a very small amount of copper to the normal mix of alloys and pure Gold, and can, when a touch too much copper is introduced, result in a strong pink colour rather than a blush of colour. The Rose Gold in the above pendant strikes the right balance.
The above Moonstone is of excellent AGrade quality, with a fine interior luminescence, a “cat’s eye” effect. This grade of Moonstone has become difficult to source; most largish Moonstone available now in the 2020s is quite milky, lacking the transparency of the above gemstone, its interior mystery.
