10mm Ruby cabochon, 7ct (1.2grams) opaque plush purple, cut to display a permanent 6-point “star”, or asterism, clear under direct sunlight or pinpoint light; set in a pendant created and handcrafted in Sydney, a convex disc of hand-hammered solid Sterling Silver, enlivened with granules of 18ct Gold and chain fittings at the top also hand-worked in 18ct Gold.
The Ruby itself is mounted in a solidly handmade setting of 9ct Gold.
