Sexagonal Lapis Lazuli tubular beads in earrings created and crafted in Sydney in 9ct Gold, the 9ct Gold beads London made, 9ct Gold safety hooks imported from Italy. The Lapis is of Afghani origins, from the ancient mines which supplied ancient Egypt four thousand years ago; naturally characteristically included with Pyrites.
In a Lapis grading system of 10 to 1, 10 being most rare and of finest ultramarine, the above pair of handcut Sexagonal Lapis tubes would rank around 8. It is the sort of ultramarine colour used in high-end jewellery houses in London and New York, set, for example, in Gold shirt cuff links.
Dimensions of Lapis 15mmx8mm, eardrop length 37mm.
