Round Profile Bangle, 9ct Gold handmade Sydney, of a uniform 2.1mm thickness. While Round Profile Gold wire can be ordered from one of Sydney’s metal refineries, in various thicknesses, this bangle has been crafted from its beginning by the Sydney bench jeweller who formed it, melting down 999 pure Gold granules, alloying it to 9ct (375), then working through the process of drawing the Gold through drawplates to finally get it down to the required profile and thickness.
Then the bangle shape is formed, through hammering, pushing and pulling, and annealing, until it is ready to be cleanly soldered, and finally to be cleaned up, polished and stamped. Nice, clean work.
