Star-set Emerald, stylish 9ct Gold earrings designed and crafted in Sydney. The above fixed hook style of eardrop is not so common, though it is an elegant form, and one that has been in use thousands of years.

The “star” effect around the Emerald gemstones has been created by the professional Sydney gemstone-setter, using the metal scoring scorper to incise a three-prong star in the Gold, and push up the three little Gold beads, or granules, that, pressed over the girdle of each precious little Emerald, holds the gemstone firmly in place.

Note: 3.6 grams of 9ct Gold have been used in the crafting of the above Star-set Emerald earrings.
