Turquoise old Tibetan as centre-bead, a lovely old Tibetan bead from one of the mines in West Tibet, old when purchased from Tibetan traders in the 1970s, a very fine blue-green worn patina with characteristic matrix of the mother-rock.
An interesting necklace created in Sydney, professionally strung in Sydney, silk and knotted throughout; this type of AGrade stranding is costly and adds near on $70 to the cost as of 2022.
Interesting components: the dark blue 3mm round beads handcut Afghani Lapis Lazuli of premium quality; the red glass beads old Karen Hill Tribes work from the mid 1900s, from the north-east corner of Thailand; the larger red glass all white-centred, time consuming work to create greater luminescence.
