Silver Pendant handmade Sydney, with Gold and Diamonds. Designed and handcrafted in Sydney, a neat polished slab of Silver inset with an 18ct Gold setting for a high-grade 4x2mm baguette Diamond and rub-set with another smaller high-grade Diamond, a little 1.75mm square.
The idea was to create a pendant small and precious, in Diamond and the noble metals of Gold and Silver, with an end price of well under $1000. The quality of the two Diamonds used, however, made that not quite possible. The .12ct 4x2mm baguette was especially costly, being of E colour, almost perfect white, and graded at VS1 clarity. The end price should be in the region of $1150.
The 18ct Gold setting for the baguette Diamond uses 0.5 grams of the precious costly metal; the setting does not sit on top of the Silver slab, rather is sunk through the 1.7mm thickness of the Silver, as can be be seen in the rear image of the pendant, the last image in the above gallery of images.
