Silver Chevron Link Antique English Guard Chain, out of Birmingham in the 1880s, super-fine linkage handworked in Sterling Silver, with original swivel clasp, all in excellent condition.
The image on this page is a close-up to show the “chevron” or “foxtail” type of chain. This tightly crafted squared linage is 1.4mm thick.

Very long at 140cms, long enough, when threaded through the swivel clasp, to easily, comfortably, be worn doubled.
