Sapphires of a lovely matched dusky pink colour, in earstuds of solid 9ct Rose Gold crafted in Sydney, created in Sydney in a pleasingly rounded cupped form, with a prominent setting edge to create a noticeable frame for the gemstones.
The Rose Gold metal used in these earstuds is Sydney-made, the subtle pink colour created through the addition of a very small amount of copper. It takes but a little to use a touch too much copper, resulting in a considerably stronger rose colour.
Interesting that the Rose Gold “butterfly” post clips, one of the two elements in these earstuds not Sydney-made (the other being the African Sapphires), are imported from Italy and have a slightly stronger pinkish hue.
