The pure proper Turquoise blue of the above 9mm matched rounds is natural, untreated by anything other than a protective surface waxing. Some American gemstone dealers built up stock of this rarity before the closure  of this mine; naturally, it is becoming more difficult to source, and more expensive, as time passes.
-the above earring settings, of solid 9ct Yellow Gold, are completely handcrafted in Sydney, specifically for this matched Turquoise pair. Over 2.1 grams of 9ct Gold went into the making. The very cleanly crafted fixing into place of the two Turquoise cabochons is the work of a top Sydney professional gemstone setter.
