Italian Rosary, Antique Silver and glass, early 1900s. The purplish marbled glass would have been blown in Italy. The piece could be worn as a necklace if so desired, for it is long enough to slip over the head. This old Italian Rosary is in very good condition considering its wear, most evident in the blurred features of the Christ face. One bead only has suffered a knock, and it is still totally intact.
Note: the glass beads are definitely of a more pronounced purple colour in reality than that shown in the above images.

Italian Rosary, Antique Silver and glass, early 1900s, purplish marbled glass beads approx 7mm across, cross 45mm length, 27mm across. Good condition.
At 69cms length long enough to slip over the head if so required; extra 15cms from medallion to bottom of the cross.
