Handcrafted 73cms length Sterling Silver chain, modelled directly upon the linkage of an English late 1800s “Albert” chain; with two English swivel clasps.
The above Handcrafted 73cms Silver chain was created in Jaipur, Rajasthan, western India, the work of an elderly master chain maker. It is a very well made chain, strong and supple. Silver chain of this quality has not been crafted in Australia for decades; chain making is not only dirty work and hard on the hands -every link soldered one to the other- it requires considerable concentration and patience, and is most time-consuming.

The precious metals of Gold, Silver and Platinum have experienced large rises in world prices over the last twelve months, the period of the year 2025, and while much of the attention has been captured by the rising cost of Gold during that period, the price rises of both Platinum and Silver are more than double that of Gold in the same period.
