Framed old Tibetan Coral, a unique pendant designed and handcrafted in Sydney in solid Sterling Silver and solid 9ct Gold, the frame and the Coral caps top and bottom Silver, the pediments top and bottom of frame, and the ring and bail all solid 9ct Gold.
Completely open at the rear so the Coral might touch the skin when worn.
Pendant 40mm total length, 18mm across the frame.

The white streak of calcite inclusion suggests that its origin was the China Sea; certainly the Tibetans used both China Sea and Mediterranean Coral. This 2.5 gram bead was old before its purchase from Tibetan traders over forty years back.
