Floral Silver Cross Pendant. English early 1900s design, influenced by both the Arts and Crafts movement’s style and the growing Art Nouveau. The original would have been made by hand, the floral patterns pressed in Silver and applied to the handmade cross. Even for a skilled bench jeweller of the time it would have been the work of a couple of hours. One hundred years later that sort of concentrated effort in the creation of a pretty little Silver pendant is simply not possible.
The above pendant was cast in London fairly recently from a very well-crafted model worked up in the early 1980s in London from the original.
