Flexible Old handmade Tribal Silver “foxtail”, or chevron link chain, from Sth India (Kerala) circa mid-1900s, flexible because of age and much wear, for this type of chevron link chain, when newly handmade, is quite stiff; it takes a lot of wear to end with a chain as pleasantly tactile as this. Running it between the fingers one can feel the spots where it has sustained a hard knock.
Old but nice, intact, of high Silver content, and totally hand-worked.
