Fine Small Sapphires, .16ct in the pair, well-matched deep saturated blue colour, Ceylon gemstone origin. These matched Fine Small Sapphires, each gemstone 2.5mm cut round, display the deep vivid blue of AGrade Sri Lankan Sapphire material despite their small size.
Note: Sapphire is produced in a number of world locations, including Australia, but usually in the case of small Sapphire gemstones, due to the masking effect of certain inclusions, it is difficult to get a true Sapphire blue that is visible to the eye. Sapphires from Madsagaskar are in the same league, colour-wise, as Ceylon material, and also some Sapphire material out of Afghanistan (though the latter is not easy to source).
