Customer Design, brief for an Engagement Ring of 18ct White Gold, 4-claw setting for a cushion cut high blue Sapphire of around 2ct weight, Diamonds in the shoulders.
Result: this 18ct White Gold ring, handcrafted in Sydney, claw-set 1.96ct fine cushion cut Ceylonese Sapphire (7.3 x 6.7mm), with .22ct in 20 bead-set bright small Diamonds (E-F colour, clarity VVS). Price approx $5000 early 2014.
