Bright .21ct Ceylon (Sri Lanka) Sapphires in earstuds that could hardly be more simple; neat and contained, created in Sydney to be as spare as possible, cute and sturdy.
The Rose Gold used in these earstuds is a muted colour, not brightly pink as some Rose Gold can present because of the amount of copper alloy used in its creation.
Interesting that the “butterfly” post clips, imported from Italy because they are simply not manufactured in this country, are of a slightly more obvious pink than the earstuds themselves. Italy does not have the tradition of  subtleties in Rose Gold, an English tradition.
Interesting also how costly these imported Italian Gold “butterflies” are, comprising 10% of the cost of creating these earstuds in Sydney.
