Traditional Old Afghani Silver pendants, with Silver earhooks nicely handcrafted for them in Sydney, to create an interesting pair of Silver earrings, light in weight and not too big at only 14mm across.
Origin of this pair is the Ghazni region of east Afghanistan, south of Kabul and near the western border of Pakistan, created around the 1950s/1960s . Traditional Old Afghani Silver pieces such as the above would have been totally hand-worked in a lot of ten or more, as ornaments to be sewn onto a shawl or headdress, sometimes set with bright glass, as above, sometimes just Silver.
