Rare Old Silver chain necklace, handcrafted in one of the most ancient of all chain types, the “foxtail” or “chevron” wire link, this example out of Kerala South India around the 1950’s.
Originally created as a belt. Labour-intensive, not created since the 1970s.

This chain is very flexible, a result of wear over the decades, and is in excellent condition; 3.5mm squared profile, 84cms length, 60 grams weight; original traditional end caps and traditional, but new-made, “S” clasp.
