Tiny Ruby Square, with three glinting old-cut Diamonds, in a pendant handworked in solid Gold. The bail ( oval ring at top for a chain) handcrafted in 9ct Gold; the compact little setting for the gemstones tests at close to 18ct Gold. There is near 0.5 grams (.45 grams) Gold in the pendant, including the bail.

The old-cut Diamonds have a dark glint about them reminiscent of the glint of Diamonds used in jewellery before the 19th.century, when Diamonds were very rare, and cutting techniques primitive in comparison to today. Diamonds used in early Georgian jewellery had that same adamantine, off-white glitter.
