The setting at bottom for the baguette Diamond is crafted in .5 grams of 18ct Gold; the central Silver section is a solid slab 2mm thick, the 2.5mm round Diamond rub-set, where the setter cuts out a seat for the gemstone, leaving just enough metal to push back over  the edge, or girdle, of the gemstone, to fix the gemstone in place and on the same plane, the same level, as the metal surface.
The top rings of the pendant are crafted in 9ct Gold, the bail a nice solid largish oval big enough to handle the end of a Silver chain if the wearer so desired.
This is a fine one-off Sydney-made pendant, elegant and simple and sturdy, of precious metals and Diamonds.
