Silver Rope chain 1.5mm thick, 51cms length, strung with fifteen old Venetian glass trade beads, a flat granulated handmade Silver spacer between each of the glass beads.
Centre Venetian glass approx 13x13mm dimensions; the entire bead segment length occupies 16.5cms of the 51cms chain length.

This type of old Venetian glass, hand-blown millefiori on a black core, was created in mid to late 1800s for trade into Africa, and is still to be found in most regions of the continent.
