250 CE Silver coin about 1750 years old, from the Indo-Scythian “Western Satraps” kingdom which ruled large swathes of western India for hundreds of years until its destruction by the Guptas in 4th century CE.
Coin approx 14mm round, 1.7mm thick.
Pendant created simply in Sydney with 9ct Gold ring and bale; 22mm total pendant length.
(Note: while the bust shows Graeco-Bactrian influence, the rear with its three-sectioned stupa and flowing river, and ancient Brahmi script, is purely Indian sub-continent.)
