Turquoise Types, Coral. Glass necklace. The green-blue Turquoise centre-bead is from one of China’s seventeen working Turquoise mines, while the other eight paler Turquoise have their  origin near the north-west border region of Afghanistan.
Included in this strand are eighteen beads of gem-quality orange-red old handcut Corals from Sth India (original source Mediterranean, imported into Sth India in branch form by the British East India Company from the 1700s), some natural white freshwater seed Pearls, some handmade Silver beads, and small old red and dark blue handmade glass beads from tribal Nagaland, from old “rope” strands of such small beads out of the early 1900s.
