Six-point Star Sapphire (2.97 ct, 7.5x8mm oval) set in handworked 18ct Gold with 18ct Gold granulation surround on a ring band of very solidly crafted Sterling Silver, 9mm across top tapering to 6mm width at rear, all completely handcrafted in Sydney.
The asterism in this Sapphire is a permanent phenomenon and is sharp and clear, especially under direct light source or in sunlight.
The Sapphire has a lovely delicate grey-blue sheen, is very tough and durable, and beautiful as well.
