Silver Band, Gold, Ruby and Emerald. Three domed lines in a solid Silver band 1.8mm thick, 5.5mm uniform width. The solid 9ct Gold gemstone setting takes its inspiration from an early 1800s Georgian gentleman’s tie pin head, the original not as solid as the above, and originally with all five gemstones Diamonds of rough old cut and glinty dark colour. A very compact design.
The surface of the above 9ct Gold setting has been scored between the Emeralds, the neat work of the gemstone setter, creating a surface which ripples and glints about the Emeralds and Ruby. It is the old-fashioned touch of an experienced European-trained Sydney gemstone setter.
The gemstones used in above ring all have their source in the east of Africa, the Emeralds from Zambia, the Ruby from Mozambique. All five  gemstones are of AGrade commercial quality, the colours very true, the Emeralds bright green, the Ruby of deep and lively red.
This is an attractive ring, created in Sydney and strongly crafted.
