Round 7mm White Pearl: this Pearl is Freshwater Cultured, China origin, and is a genuine Pearl of good lustre, very clean, virtually free of blemishes. For a long time, since the beginning of the industry of Cultured Peals in Japan in the mid 1900s, “freshwater” signified Pearls of small size, pretty but small. In the last decades, however, Chinese Pearl cultivators have been highly successful in producing a fine, cultured Pearl, quite round and relatively free of blemish, of good size.
It is now possible to source round Freshwater Pearls of good quality up to 10mm in size and bigger, but the price of these is high.
