Old Round Tribal Silver Disc earrings, the discs handcrafted, hand-hammered, light in weight and of quite high Silver content, 85% to 90%. They date back to the mid 1900s and many of them were sewn onto an old handloom cotton scarf, what would have been a Tribal dress piece denoting prestige and wealth.
The Jaipuri merchants marked it as Rajasthani, but it could just as easily have been Gujerati, or even from Himachel further north.
On the above eardrops the link between disc and earhook was part of the linkage of an old Silver belt from Hyderabad.
