SOLD. Old Multan enamelled Silver, pear-shaped well-matched, handcrafted in the early 1900s, nicely executed floral motif in blues and ochre, earhooks handmade Sydney Sterling Silver.
Multan is a city on the Indus River, famous in its day for enamelling, the work of a Hindu crafts guild, all members of which fled at Partition 1947, to India parts various, and the art died; all this type of work is pre-1947. These examples are in excellent condition.
