Neat Enamelled Silver Earrings. The above earrings are from a Moroccan tradition of enamelled Silver work going back centuries, out of a  Tribal area of mostly Berber folk, in the southern part of the Anti Atlas Mountains of south-east Morocco.
The  above Silver earrings are new, crafted traditionally in Tiznit, a coastal town not far from where the Anti Atlas Mountain range tails down to the coastal flatlands. The dark and light blue enamel colours are bright and undimmed by time and wear; the colour combination is slightly different from older examples of this work, for in the older work the dark blue would not normally be given such prominence, rather it would be used as highlight contrast to a more subdued colour palette of ochres and faded yellows.
