Natural Antique Coral teardrops of a gorgeous salmon pink, in earstud drops created in Sydney in 18ct Gold.
The above teardrop Corals are two of five such pendants sourced in Bath Somerset, all of the same particularly lovely Coral colour, all slightly different in proportions; the above pair are not exactly matched but close to it. All came with a Silver post embedded in the apex, the posts curled into rounds; obviously, originally, the pendants would have hung from a necklace of some sort, probably a Silver chain.
Not including the 18ct Gold butterfly clips, 2.96grams of 18ct Gold used in the hand-making of the above earstud drops. At current mid-2023 Gold prices that amounts to over $300 cost price; add to that the base labour cost of the Sydney hand-making; add to that the almost $100 cost price of the Italian imported 18ct Gold butterfly clips for the posts (Australia does not produce “butterfly” clips).
