$750.00

Naga tribal Amber and Naga red glass bead necklace. The old handcut Amber, a rare large example of dark honey coloured gemstone Amber from the Bay of Bengal, is 50mm long, 15mm thick, weighing 8.5grams.
The small handblown white-centred red glass, also a Naga favourite and used in the amazingly thick, ropey, multi-strand glass bead necklaces created early 1900s in a number of Nagaland valleys, were probably traded in from the Karen hill-tribes of northern Thailand.
Other ingredients: old Agates from Gujerat, old Silver from Rajasthan, seven old Naga resin beads.
Professionally strung in Sydney; 85cms length, plus another 9cms in the Amber pendant and its tassel.
