Enamelled Silver pendant created by Hindu artisans of the Indus city of Multan in the early 1900s, with Afghani Lapis Lazuli cylinder-cut beads, and Turquoise and handmade Silver spacers, in a necklace of 50cms length.
Created and strung in Sydney, Silver ends and spring clasp.
All the Hindu artisans of Multan left in the 1947 Partition, and this sort of enamelled Silverwork was not continued after that.
