The 4mm round Lapis Lazuli beads are cut and polished in Jaipur Rajasthan from raw rock brought in from the ancient mining region of this gemstone in north-east Afghanistan. Lapis Lazuli and Turquoise are the two rocks in the gemstone world, the others being either crystalline or organic.
