Handcarved Antique English Jet earrings, from 1880's, a fashion item for the women of England who wore black in sympathy for their Queen.
This pair in excellent condition, fitted in Sydney with handmade 9ct Gold earhooks.
60mm length, 25mm at widest, so biggish but very light in weight.(Jet is a form of fossilized coal which takes a high polish and is easy to carve.)
